ACE-031 (ActRIIB-Fc)

ACE-031 is an experimental recombinant fusion protein consisting of the extracellular domain of Activin Type IIB Receptor (ActRIIB) fused to an immunoglobulin Fc domain. Unlike conventional short-chain research peptides, ACE-031 is more accurately characterized as an ActRIIB-Fc fusion protein.

ActRIIB interacts with several members of the TGF-β superfamily, including myostatin (GDF-8) and certain activins. These signaling pathways are closely associated with skeletal muscle growth, muscle tissue homeostasis, cellular differentiation, and related biological processes.

In life science research, ACE-031 is investigated in connection with myostatin/ActRIIB signaling, activin-related pathways, skeletal muscle biology, regulation of muscle growth, and TGF-β superfamily signaling. It can also serve as a research tool for studying ligand-receptor interactions and their downstream biological effects.

ACE-031 has previously undergone human clinical investigation but has not become an approved therapeutic product. It should therefore not be represented as having established muscle-building or performance-enhancing effects in humans.
