PTD-DBM (Protein Transduction Domain–Dishevelled Binding Motif)

PTD-DBM is an experimental peptide associated with hair follicle biology and Wnt/β-catenin signaling research. Its name refers to Protein Transduction Domain–Dishevelled Binding Motif.

An important area of PTD-DBM research involves the interaction between CXXC5 and Dishevelled (Dvl) proteins. CXXC5 has been investigated as a negative regulator of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, and experimental studies have explored how PTD-DBM may influence this protein interaction and associated downstream signaling mechanisms.
